Last updated: February 2026
Overview
This privacy policy applies to the YZZO app ("Application") created by Lucca Romaniello ("Service Provider") as an open-source service. YZZO is a clipboard manager that prioritizes your privacy. We believe your clipboard data is personal and should stay that way.
Information collection and use
YZZO does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. The Application works entirely offline and all clipboard history is stored locally on your device.
We do not collect:
- Your device's IP address
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Your clipboard contents
- Location data
- Any personally identifiable information
App Store purchases (macOS)
If you purchase YZZO through the Mac App Store, Apple handles all payment processing. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs the collection of payment data. For more information, see Apple's Privacy Policy .
Local storage
Your clipboard history is stored locally on your device and never leaves your computer. You have full control over this data and can clear it at any time from within the Application.
Third-party access
We do not share any information with third parties. Since we don't collect any data, there is nothing to share.
Children
The Application does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under 13. Since YZZO operates entirely offline and stores data only locally, there is no risk of children's data being collected or transmitted.
Data retention
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete your clipboard history at any time from within the Application. Uninstalling the Application will remove all associated data from your device.
Opt-out
Since YZZO does not collect any data, there is nothing to opt out of. If you wish to stop using the Application, simply uninstall it using your operating system's standard uninstall process.
Security
Your data security is ensured by the fact that all information remains on your device. We do not operate servers that could be compromised. The Application is open-source, allowing you to verify its security practices.
Open source
YZZO is open-source software released under the GPL-3.0 license. You can review our source code on GitHub to verify our privacy practices.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any changes.

By using the Application, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
